The meaning of tradition hovers in instability in the space where the traditional and the modern coexist. Departing from the question why Korean typography is always displayed 2-dimensionally, this project proposes a 3-dimentional exhibition space and layout to revive the inherent sculptural significance and traits of the ever-transforming Korean Hangueul.

The work allows the visitor to experience a new form of typography gallery by establishing the Korean traditional principles of heaven, earth and man as the constitution of space, and by deconstructing and spatializing Hanguel.

Translating Hanguel as 3D objects rather than as 2D text on flat posters, this space explores the potential of text and reawakens the public awareness on tradition.
