기존의 소화기는 보편적으로 약3kg, 그 이상으로는 6kg가 넘는 무거운 중량을 가진다. 때문에 여성, 어린이, 노인, 환자 등 힘이 약한 사람들이 소화기를 사용하는데에 큰 어려움을 겪고있다. 노약자뿐만아니라 성인 남성도 많은 힘이 필요하며 이러한 이유로 화재시 제대로 대응을 하지못해 큰 사고로 이어지는 위험한 상황이 우려된다. ‘hug me’는 끌어안는 힘을 이용하여 무거운 소화기를 힘이 약한 사람들도 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 디자인한 소화기이다. 또한 끌어안는 힘과 함께 소화기를 상체에 기대서 사용하기 때문에 힘을 덜들이고 수월하게 소화기를 사용함으로써 노약자도 화재시 적절한 대처를 할 수 있다. |

‘hug me’ is designed for those who are physically weak to use it easily despite of its heavy weight by taking advantage of pulling strength. Existing fire extinguishers usually weigh 3 to 6 kg or even more, making it much difficult for women, children, seniors, patients and those who are physically weak to use them. Not only seniors but adult males need a lot of strength to use them and therefore it will likely to cause serious accidents due to failure to properly cope with fire.
