대회 엠블렘의 구성처럼 조각조각을 이어서 스포츠맨을 형상화, 물결의 리듬감을 살리고 스포츠를 통한 아시아인들의 화합과 이상을 표현. 배경의 떠오르는 해와 바다는 대회 개최지의 상징이며 빛과 환희의 표현이다. 한글로 표현된 '인천' 은 개최지 인천의 자긍심이며 사람과 새, 인천대교 등을 연상하도록 했다. 이 포스터는 인천다움, 엠블렘과의 연결고리, 스포츠맨을 형상화하는데 주안점을 두었다. |

Individual pieces are put together to represent a sportsman as done in the emblem, to express the rhythm of water wave and the ideal harmony of Asians through sports. The rising sun and the sea in the background symbolize the venue and is the expression of light and joy. The "인천"(Incheon) in Hangul shows Incheon's pride as well as the association to the people, birds, and Incheon Bridge. This poster tried to focus on the representation of sportsman, connection with the emblem, and most of all, Incheon"ness." |
