지게(Korean A-frame)는 우리나라 고유의 운반기구로, 물건을 나를 때 사용되었던 대표적인 도구 중 하나이다. 인체에 맞게 제작되어 등에 짊어져도, 땅에 세워 놓아도 안정적인 지게에는 우리 선조들의 지혜가 담겨있다. 그런 지게의 형태와 구조를 현대적으로 재해석한 편안한 라운지 체어 디자인을 제안한다. 지게를 닮은 A자형 구조가 에이 프레임 라운지 체어의 전반적인 형태를 이룬다. 등받이에서 전후면 양방향으로 뻗어나가는 다리의 형태는 의자의 정면, 측면, 평면에서 입체적으로 드러난다. 또한 좌판은 뒤쪽으로 기울어져 몸을 감싸주고 등받이는 자연스럽게 허리를 받쳐주도록 인체공학적인 각도를 이룬다. |

| Korean A-frame is our traditional carrying device. Its design is the result of our ancestors' wisdom, made ergonomically and structurally sound and stable. Thus these features became design motifs for 'Korean A-Frame Lounge Chair'. The chair reinterprets the form and structure of Korean A-frame in a modern way. The legs stem down from back of the chair to the front and the rear, portraying the 'A-frame' shape in three dimensional way. Also, slightly slanted seat and back of the chair support user ergonomically, providing comfortable relaxing environment. | |||
