| 불교에서 상상의 꽃을 의미하는 보상화와 빛을 밝혀주는 전통촛대를 모티브로 하였다. 보상화는 2층장, 반닫이 등 전통가구에서 주로 사용된 만큼 우리생활에서 친근한 이미지로 전달되고 있다. 또한 첨단기술에 의한 기능을 지닌 제품도 중요하지만, 인간이 본능적으로 친근함을 느끼는 목재를 소재로 한 테이블웨어는 보다 값진 제품일 것이다. 일품 중심으로 작품이 아닌 생산을 전제로 디자인하고, 제작되었으며, 생산단가를 낮추기 위해 작업 공정을 최대한 단순화 시키기 위해 노력했다. | |||
