한국인의 태양은 양의 기운이 가득하며, 가끔 꽃이나 새의 모습으로 나타나기도 한다. 이는 하늘나라의 가장 강력한 신의 존재의 표현이며 특히 태양 속의 닭은 하늘 신과 인간 사이를 오가며 메시지를 전달하는 영매이기도 하다. 붉은색의 벼슬을 꽂꽂이 세우고 걸으며 용맹스런 눈매를 가진 닭은 예로부터 고려인의 상징이기도 하다. 본 작품을 통해 위와 같은 메시지를 전달하고자 한다. |

Korean's sun is filled with the Yang energy, and it tends to be manifested in the form of a flower or bird. This is the expression of the most powerful god of the heavens, and the chicken in the sun is also the psychic that delivers message while going back and forth from and to the god in the heavens and the human beings. Chicken with brave eyes, that walks while erecting the red comb straight up, was the symbol of the Koryeo people. |
