급격하게 발전하고 있는 대한민국은 정체성을 잃고 있다. 무분별한 발전과 도시화로 인해, 문화재에 대한 본질적인 가치가 떨어 지고 있다고 생각한다. 미적으로 아름다운 건축을 추구하지만 과연 그 건축들이 주변환경과 잘 조화가 되는지 의문이다. 주변환경과 잘 어우러지는 것은 전통문화재와 잘 조화되는 것이며 이것은 한국의 정체성을 표현하는 것이라고 생각하며 도시와 문화재를 공존시키는 건축물을 제시한다. 디자인은, 한국전통 사상 중 하나인 풍수지리를 이용하여 부족한 점을 보완하는 비보풍수의 기능을 디자인에 적용하여 문화재와 도시간의 네트워크를 형성 및 문화재를 재조명하여 대한민국의 수도 서울의 정체성을 찾을 수 있는 관광의 축을 형성하여 도시와 문화재의 전망보도교를 만든다. |

ROK developing rapidly is losing its identity. We think fundamental value of cultural assets is going down cuz, we are developing into urbarnization. We pursuit of beautiful building, but we wonder those buildings can match nature. Going well with atmosphere around us is existing with properties in harmony, and this is expression of our identity. also, It suggests buildings making city&property coexist. Among all the korea's thought, Pungsujiri, it make up for cons to adapt function of 비보풍수 to design, and it lonks cultural assets to city and spotlight our properties again |
