치과의자는 환자가 치료시에 여러가지 포지션에서 편안함을 유지할 수 있도록 해야 하며 청소 등 유지관리에도 용이한 형태로 제작 되어야 한다. 뿐만 아니라 의사가 환자에게 아주 가깝게 접근 할 수 있도록 무릎의 공간을 확보 하는데 형태적으로 용이해야 하여 이는 사용의 편리성과 직결되는 요소이다. 디자인 과정에서는 이전 모델의 디자인에서 깍아내고 덧붙여 나가는 방식으로 신체와 접촉하는 부분의 형태를 완성하였으며 가장자리의 아웃라인은 심미적인 고려를 더 하였다. 특히 발이 닿는 부분은 오염의 가능성이 크고, 보다 견고한 표면으로 빈번한 사용에도 견딜 수 있도록 소재를 차별화 하여 적용하였다. |

Patients should feel comfortable when they are on dental chair during their treatment. And it would be better if it needs low maintenance. Also, Dentists should feel convenient when they treat their patients. It supposed to have enough space for dentists' knees when they come close to their patients. For the part which is in the range of feet should have firm surface. It is because that it is frequently used and easily contaminated. Therefore, differentiated material is used. In the section where patients lie, it is modified from the previous design, and the outline of edge section is esthetically considered in design process. |
