거친 붓으로 화장토를 발라 붓 자국을 그대로 표현해내는 분청사기의 귀얄기법을 모티브로 하고 모티브 자체를 바꾸기보다 모티를 심화시킨다는 측면에서 첨장기법(尖漿技法)이라는 새로운 표현기법을 작품에 응용 하였다. 작품의 표면을 장식 하였던 첨장기법은 장시간 시간간격을 두고 수십번 반복적으로 흙물을 바르게 되는데 한번 바르면 0.3mm의 두께가 형성이 되고 이것을 50회-100회 바르면 완성된다. 흙물을 한번 바르고 약20분정도의 건조과정을 거치고 다시 바르는 작업이라 시간과의 싸움이라 할 수 있겠다. |

These works were motivated by Gwiyal (a kind of paintbrush) technique that is used for grayish-blue-powdered-celadon. Gwiyal technique expresses the mark of a rough brush wet with Hwajangto (clay) as it is. The works intended to deepen the motive rather than to change the motive itself so Cheomjang (like sharp spine) technique, a new expressive method, was applied to the works. Cheomjang technique, which decorates the surface of the works, is to repeatedly paste clay water tens of times for a long time. One time of pasting produces 0.3mm thickness, which is usually repeated 50~100 times. Once one time of pasting is completed, about 20 minutes are taken for dry. This technique is the matter of time. |
