| 세계 각지에서 테러공격이 불특정 다수를 향해 무분별하게 발생하고 있다. 우리나라도 테러의 안전지대가 아니며 해외에서 벌어지는 테러공격으로 대한민국 국민들의 부상과 사망이 발생되고 있다. 그리고 급조 폭발물(Improvised explosive device)에 의한 사고가 점차 확산 및 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 크고 육중하고 고가의 장비인 기존 폭발물 탐지기의 사용성과 공급에는 많은 제약이 따르고 있어 테러방지의 실효성이 미진한 상태이다. 이에 기존제품의 단점을 개선한 보급형 탐지기의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 고성능의 소형 3D센서를 탑재하고 전자회로, 배터리, 안테나 등의 메커니즘을 최대로 집적화하여 간소화, 경량화, 사용성을 개선한 핸디헬드형 보급형 탐지기 개발은 큰 의의가 있다 하겠다. 본 제품은 보급형 급조 폭발물 탐지기로서 공공기관 및 각종 터미널 등의 공공장소에서 경비원 및 전담요원들이 테러 방지와 공격에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 고안된 것이다. | |||

| Terrorist attacks are occurring indiscriminately toward many unspecified people from all over the world. Korea is not a safe zone for terrorism, and the terrorist attacks abroad are causing injuries and deaths of Koreans. Accidents caused by improvised explosive devices are gradually spreading and increasing. However, the use and supply of existing explosives detectors, which are large, heavy, and expensive equipment, are subject to a lot of restrictions, and terrorism prevention is ineffective.
