| 레이온은 재생섬유의 한 종류로 목재를 용융시켜 원사를 생산하여 셀룰로오스계 섬유의 천연의 특성을 지니고 있어, 친환경성, 흡습성, 외기차단의 효과뿐만 아니라 화재안정성에서도 뛰어난 성능을 지니고 있는 소재이다. 레이온원사는 다른 천연소재와 같이 생산 날짜별 색상을 일정하게 유지하기 어려워 재활용이 쉽지 않으나, 이를 셔닐 또는 커버링한 장식사로 가공하고, 홀치기염 기법으로 염색하면 일정한 색상과 굵기가 유지되지 않아도 재활용하여 상품화하기 용이하다. 최근 디지털 산업의 발달과의 반대로 수공예의 가치가 높아짐에 따라 색상과 외관이 불규칙한 장식사와 홀치기염의 기술이 적용된 텍스타일의 벽지는 프리미엄시장에 높은 가치를 지니는 생활소비재이다. | |||

| Rayon is a kind of recycled fiber from wood melting which has the natural characteristics of cellulose fiber such as environmentally friendly, hygroscopicity, thermal resistant and safety at the reaction to fire. Rayon yarn is not simple to recycle due to color difference by production lot such as the other natural material, however, it is easy to recycle commercialize with tie-dyeing after chenille or covering fancy yarn finishing even they don't have stable color or denier. The crafted fancy yarn & tie-dyed textile wallcovering has a high demanded living consumer goods at premium market. | |||
