바쁜 현대인들의 생활 속 여유와 휴식을 찾고, 건강하고 행복한 삶을 추구하는‘웰빙’이라는 트렌드와 함께‘차 문화’에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이제 차는 단순히 마시는 도구라는 의식을 탈피하고, 차를 음미함은 물론 심미적인 부분까지 충족 및 누릴 수 있는 제품을 통해 미적인 가치까지도 만족을 줄 수 있어야 한다. 가치있는 정신문화가 담긴 우리 차 문화의 본질을 계승하면서 현대인들에게 접근이 용이한 차 도구 개발을 목적으로 모던함, 심플함의 상징인‘기하학적 형태’에서 모티브를 얻었다. 기하학적 형태는 자연의 정제된 형태로써 객관성과 깔끔함이 내재된 추상적인 형태를 일컫는다. 기하학 형태에서 느껴지는 세련미와 경쾌함을 바탕으로 형태를 응용하여 깔끔하고 심플함의 상징 순백색과 기하학을 응용한 형태를 살려 현대적인 감각을 표현한 다기세트(찻잔, 다완, 차주전자)에 은은한 조명등까지 디자인 및 제작하였다. 작품제작은 석고틀을 이용한 이장주입 성형기법을 사용하였다. 태토는 식기에 적합하고 백색도가 좋은 실크소지를 이장주입에 사용하였고, 시유는 투명유, 백유등을 사용하였다. |

As the ‘well-being’ trend, people try to find spare time in their busy lives & seek for a healthier life, and demands in tea culture are increasing. people are now looking for tea products that can satisfy their taste as well as their aesthetic aspects. I got our inspiration from modern & geometric shapes with the purpose of people getting easy access to tea culture and inheriting the true spirit of the traditional tea culture. As naturally refined forms, geometric shapes are abstract shapes in which objectivity & tidiness are inherent. Based on the refined & buoyant feeling that geometric shapes deliver, we designed & produced a tea set, a lamp. I tried to express a modern feeling by applying geometric forms & a pure white color, symbolic of simplicity. I used the slip casting method with plaster forms. As for the base soil of the sets in slip casting, used silk material suitable for chinaware & effective in expressing white color. I used transparent & white glazes for glazing. |
