문득 방 한 곳에 자리잡은 서랍장을 보며 사방이 꽉 막힌 모습에 답답함을 느꼈다. 그 답답함은 우리가 일상에서 사용하는 가구들의 형태와 재료들이 과하다는 생각이 들게 하였고 꼭 필요하지 않은 부분부터 하나씩 지워보기 시작했다. _ 서랍장을 감싸고 있는 옆면, 뒷면을 제거하여 서랍장의 무게는 더 가벼워졌다. _ 막힌 부분이 없는 서랍은 전면이라는 개념이 사라져 다양한 공간에서 필요에 따라 효율적인 배치가 가능하다. _ 내부 서랍이 그대로 노출되었지만 충분히 막혀있다. 필요한 최소한의 재료와 형태로 제 역할에 충실한 ‘가구’는 더 다양한 공간에서 우리에게 최대의 경험을 줄 것이다. 앞으로 이런 가구를 만들고 싶다. |

I suddenly felt stifled when I saw the chest of drawers in a room. I thought the shapes and materials of the furniture were excessive and began to erase them one by one which was not necessary. _ The weight of the drawer was lightened by removing the side and the back which surround the drawer. _ An open drawer is far from the concept of front, it is possible to arrange efficiently according to needs in various spaces. _ The inner drawer is exposed but it is blocked enough. The Furniture that is faithful to its role in the minimum amount of materials and forms you need will give us the greatest experience in more space. It's my way. |
