Honeycomb Light는 3D Printing을 활용한 독특한 벌집모양의 실내조명입니다. 3D Pinting의 활용은 기존 금형 기술로는 어려운 형태들의 제작을 가능하게 하였습니다. Honeycomb Light는 3D Printing 기술을 활용하여 독특한 육각형 조각을 이어붙인 벌집모양의 매우 안정적인 구조를 구현하였으며 ABS소재를 사용하여 육각형 조각의 높낮이에 따라 빛이 다르게 투과하는 특성을 살렸습니다. 또한 소비자가 원하는 크기와 형태로 재조립이 가능하고 한 조각조각의 위치를 봐꿔 끼워 넣을 수 있는 인터렉션을 유도한 이 실내 조명은 조명시장의 새로운 패러다임 쉬프트를 불러올 것이라고 예상됩니다. |

Honeycomb Light is a unique honeycomb indoor lighting using 3D printing. With 3D printing, it is now possible to produce shapes which can not be made by existing molding technology. Honeycomb Light uses 3D printing technology to create a highly stable structure with a honeycomb shape with unique hexagonal pieces connected together.Using ABS material, the light penetrates differently according to the height of hexagonal pieces. It is expected that this interior lighting, which allows the consumer to re-assemble in the size and shape they want,and to change the position of each pieces, will lead to a new paradigm shift in the lighting industry. |
