신도림역에서는 유동인구들이 인천, 부천, 수원 등 경기도 지역에서 1호선을 이용, 2호선으로 환승함으로써 출퇴근시간에 막대한 혼잡이 발생된다. 이때문에 연세가 많은 노약자 계층의 경우 역사를 이용함에 있어 수많은 탑승구 중 원하는 행선지를 파악하기 위해 상단의 이정표만 주시하다 행인들과 부딪히는 등 환승지역에서의 혼잡함을 더욱 가중시키는 효과를 가져온다. 이에 본 디자인은 최대 환승역중의 하나인 신도림역에서 노약자 계층 및 다양한 이용객들의 조금 더 쉽고 신속한 행선지 파악을 위해 기존의 안내 방식을 보완하여 지면 디자인을 활용한 직관적이고 효율적인 인포메이션 노선디자인을 제시하고자 한다. |

Sindorim station faces a heavy congestion during the rush hour as line no. 1 passengers from Gyeonggi area such as Incheon, Bucheon and Suwon get off at this station and transfer to line no. 2.For this reason, the elderly bump into walkers-by as they stare at direction signs above to find out how to exit to go to their destination among many exits and accordingly aggravate the already heavy congestion. To solve this problem this design is devised for a wide variety of people including the elderly to find their destination more easily and quickly by using signs on the ground. |
