한국을 대표하는 디자인은 무엇인가? 한국을 상징하는 것은 태극기이다! ‘상상이 피어나는 공간’ ‘태극기가 피어나다’ 무한한 상상으로 완성되는 태극이야기다. 음양사상은 대표적인 동양사상이다. 음은 그늘을 뜻하고 양은 햇빛을 뜻한다. 음양의 관계는 모든 사물이 햇빛과 그림자처럼 서로 상대방이 없으면 존재할 수 없다는 것을 상징하고 있다. 바로 태극기이다. 한국을 위한 디자인 "태극기"이라는 주제 아래 세계에 한국을 알릴 한국디자인 정체성을 이끌어내고자 하였다. 한국의 디자이너들이 디자인을 한 태극기 프로젝트 프로모션은 결국 한국 문화와 디자인을 알리는 길이다. |

What is the simbol of Korean leading design? Absolutely it is Korea flag, Taegeukgi! 'The area where blooming your imagination', Taegeukgi blossoms!' There is a story about Taegeukgi will be completed with endless imaginations. Eum Yang thought is typical Eastern philosophy. Eum means shadow of the world and Yang means sunlight of the world. The relationship between Eum and Yang, light and shadow, all things can not exist without each other that is a symbol. That is Taegeukgi, Korean flag. Designed for Korea, "Taegeukgi" under the theme will be announced to the world about Korea and will lead the design identity of Korea. After all Taegeukgi project promotion designed by Korean designers is the way to announce about Korean culture and design of Korea. |
