| 조선후기 서울을 중심으로 발전하였던 ‘춘화’는 주류화가였던 김홍도, 신윤복의 작품들에서 볼 수 있듯이 예술성과 회화성을 갖춘 우리의 소중한 풍류 문화예술입니다. 하지만 그동안 보수적인 문화성향으로 ‘춘화’는 음지에 머물러 있었습니다. 이를 외설이 아닌 건전한 성문화의 아이콘으로 발전시키고자 합니다. 기존 콘돔들의 상업적인 패키지 대신, 우리 문화콘텐츠를 알릴 수 있는 김홍도, 신윤복의 익살스러운 ‘춘화’를 패키지에 접목하였습니다. ‘춘화’의 의미와 ‘콘돔’의 용도, 그 절묘한 조화는 대한민국을 상징하는 유쾌하고 재밌는, 또한 공익적인(건전한 성문화) 디자인 아이콘으로 한국, 나아가 세계에서도 경쟁력이 있다고 확신합니다. | |||

| ‘Chunhwa’ is a Korean cultural heritage from the Joseon Dynasty by mainstream artists such as Danwon and Hyewon. Although it has aesthetic and skillful value, it has been regarded as pornography or lowbrow art because of our conservative mind to sexual topic. As Korean designers, we wanted to translate it as a meaningful something. Unlike most of existing condoms packaging focusing on commercial value, we tried to contain and spread our cultural contents by using ‘Chunhwa’ as a condom packaging. The great harmony of the meaning of ‘Chunwha’ and ‘Condom’ can become a witty icon of Korea design and a sound sex culture. | |||
