'초목(草木)'은 '풀과 나무를 아울러 이르는 말'로 자연을 벗 삼아 어울리고자 했던 조상들의 바램과 검소한 생활을 표현한 화기이다. 옛부터 우리 조상들은 자연을 곁에 두거나, 집 안으로 들이고자 하였다. 이를 반영한 '초목(草木)'은 아담한 형태로 꽃 한 송이만으로 자연의 아름다움을 충분히 느낄 수 있길 바라며, 조상들의 검소한 생활을 표현하기도 한다. 조상들의 실내공간에서 볼 수 있는 친숙한 식기와 기물의 형태를 간결한 선으로 표현하였다. |

Gazawa is a word that comes with grass and trees that expresses the wishes of ancestors who wanted to associate with nature and their simple lives. Our ancestor have wanted nature to be next to them, or let them into their homes. Gazah is a small form of flower vase that represent the beauty of nature and the frugal lifestyle of ancestors. Fully appreciate the beauty of nature with only one flower. Inspired by the familiar dishes and forms of objects used by ancestors, they were expressed in simple lines. |
