:적동이 가진 본연의 붉은 빛과 적색(赤色)을 띄는 다양한 나무들로 종지를 제작하였다. 종지는 그날의 음식에 따라 간장, 초고추장, 고추장, 겨자즙 등을 담고 있으며 조상들의 상차림에 항상 한켠을 차지하는 없어서는 안될 차림 중 하나이다. 적동(赤銅)과 적목(赤木)의 조화로 장이 가진 붉은 색감을 더욱 깊이있게 하며 다양한 나무 덮개는 이를 따뜻함이 느껴지도록 한다. 나무 덮개의 재료로는 흑단,단풍나무,호두나무,장미목,적삼목 등을 사용하였다. |

I have made a small dish out of many kinds of woods that embed the natural redish color of red copper. small dish Contains various pastes, such as Soy Sauce, red pepper paste, mustard, depends on the meals served on that day. It is an essential part of setting up the meal; also it always has taken places in past and present meal set up. Redcopper and red wood harmonize so well to develop the depth of the redish color of sauce. Additionally, various kinds of wooden cover even creates warm atmosphere to the viewers . The wooden cover i have made is made out of ebony, maple, walnut, rose wood that embed the natural redisb color of red copper. |
