게겐위버(gegenueber)는 독일어로 ‘~너머의’라는 의미이다. 현상적인 틀에서 벗어나 기하학적이고 형이상학적인 ‘저 너머의’ 아름다움을 추구한다. 그리하여 점, 선, 면의 기본 토대로 이루어진 강렬하지만 섬세한 라인의 건축적인 표현을 지향한다. 게겐위버의 wooden frame leather bag은 목재 건축물에서 나오는 강인함과 자연스러움에서 착안하여 만들어졌다. 폐가구를 가공한 기틀과 천연가죽 그리고 면 등의 친환경적인 소재로 조형적인 아름다움을 만들어 내고자한다. |
