핸드니트 기법의 하나인 태팅과 니트 자카드를 이용하여 동양적 아방가르드 디자인의 실용적 패션 악세사리를 제안한다. 동양화에서 볼 수 있는 한지 위에 먹의 번짐과 그어진 선의 이미지에서 영감을 얻어 자연스럽게 확장돼는 디자인을 만들었다. 이러한 디자인은 기존의 획일화 된 패턴의 장식이 아닌 불규칙적이며 회화적 느낌의 유기적 형태로 아방가르드한 디자인을 통한 개성 있는 연출이 가능하다. 니트 자카드는 울과 메탈사로 제작하여 보온성과 장식성을 살렸으며 레이스 제작에 사용되는 태팅기법을 불규칙적 반복으로 적용시켜 획일화되지 않은 디자인의 레이스를 제작해 독창적, 예술적 차별성을 더했다. |
