문제점 - 출퇴근 시간의 서울시 지하철 안은 지구상에서 가장 혼잡한 장소 중 하나로 수많은 사람들이 밀고 밀리는 출퇴근길은 서울시민의 삶을 더욱 고단하게 만들고 있음 - 지하철 내부의 극도의 밀집과 혼잡 상태는 스트레스뿐만 아니라 시민의 안전을 위협할 수준에 다다르고 있음 목적 “서비스 디자인 프로세스 적용을 통한 정성적인 디자인 솔루션 제안” - 객차 증대나 선로 신설과 같은 비용추가요인 없이 사용자 경험 관찰과 디자인을 통해 지하철 내부 혼잡을 경감시키고 좀 더 개선된 사용자 경험을 제공하고자 함 관찰 “혼잡한 지하철 내부에서도 가장 붐비는 공간은 오른쪽 문과 왼쪽 문 사이의 공간” - 기본적으로 출입문 사이의 공간의 양쪽 문으로 내리려는 승객과 타려는 승객, 계속 타고 가려는 승객 때문에 매우 혼잡하고 밀침이 가장 심하게 발생되고 있었음 솔루션 "지하철 내부 공간 개선과 시각디자인 개선을 통한 내부 동선 정리 및 혼잡도 개선” - 지하철 출입문 배치를 대칭형에서 비대칭하게 개선함으로써 출입문과 문 사이의 극심한 트래픽이 분산 될 뿐만 아니라 내부의 혼잡했던 동선 또한 단순하게 정리되었음 |

PROBLEM Rush hour subway in Seoul would be one of the most congested area in the world which make the life in the metropolis more stressful. Extreme level of density in rush hour subway does not only causes tons of stress, but also threat the safety of passengers. GOAL Providing improved subway experience by suggesting the qualitative design solution through service design process while minimize the cost-raising factors. FINDING “The most congested area in subway is a space between doors” Tons of pushing and shoving are happening in the spaces between doors due to different types of passengers who want to go outside, get inside, and stay in the same place. SOLUTION “Providing human-oriented design solution via interior and communication design” Zigzag door suggests asymmetric placement of seats and doors which is able to disperse the traffic between doors to each direction. |
