| 비무장지대는 40여 년간 인간의 출입이 통제되었던 구역이었기 때문에 세계적으로도 주목을 받는 천연 생태지역이다. 또한 자연생태계 연구의 학술적 가치도 매우 높아 향 후 통일 한국이 후의 향배에 따라 보존의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 우리나라에만 존재하는 그 특수성을 활용하기 위해 이곳을 관광지로 조성하는 것을 이 작품의 컨셉으로 잡게 되었다. 그 가치를 높이되 그 가치의 보존을 위해 다리를 조성하였고 그 위에 건물을 설계하여 관광할 수 있도록 기획하였다. | |||

| DMZ is a natural ecological areas receiving worldwide attention because it was out of human control was the area for over 40 years. In addition, the importance of conservation is emerging in the future, depending on trend after the very high academic value of natural ecosystems studies unified Korea. To create a place as a tourist destination to take advantage of the uniqueness of our country exists only catch was the concept of the work.
