조선의 다양한 문화를 소재로 하여 제작된 플레잉 카드 ‘태평성대’다. 태평성대 플레잉 카드는 3가지 기획의도를 가지고 있다. 하나, 조선시대에 사용된 다양한 문양과 장신구, 계급별 한복의 아름다움을 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 디자인 되었다. 둘, 외국인에게 익숙한 플레잉 카드에 한국의 전통미를 표현하여, 기념품으로의 가치를 올리고 전통 한국 문화의 아름다움을 알리는 효과를 기대한다. 셋, 태평성대의 뜻은 현명하고 너그러운 왕이 이끄는 평화로운 시대이다. 백성들이 하고 싶어 하는 일을 누구나 할 수 있는 세상을 만들고 싶어한 조선 왕들의 마음을 기리고, 현재 우리가 살아가고 있는 지금의 대한민국도 그런 세상이 되기를 바란다. |

“Taepyung Sungdae” is a playing card reflecting the various cultures of the Joseon. The playing card serves 3 purposes: 1. it's designed to feature the beauty of Hanbok, and the various patterns and accessories of the Joseon era. 2. by embedding traditional beauty of Korea into something already familiar to foreigners like the playing card, we hope to publicize the beauty of Korea and elevate its value as a souvenir. 3.“Taepyung Sungdae” refers to a peaceful era led by a wise king. We hope to pay tribute to the kings of Joseon who wanted to create a world in which the people were happy, and further hope for the same in our current society. |
