追慕;추모는 한국의 역사; 전쟁, 투쟁, 사고, 그리고 그로 인한 수많은 희생자를 추모하고자 한 작업입니다. 제사의 '향' 을 연상할 수 있는 오브제, '성냥'을 사용하여 성냥갑 브랜딩/패키지 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 일상 속에서 잠시라도 역사를 기억하고, 애도하고, 추모할 시간이 있으면 좋겠습니다. 총5가지 성냥갑 디자인으로 옆면에는 사상자 수를 포함한 설명을 볼 수 있습니다. (6.15 한국전쟁 / 8.15 광복절 / 5.18 광주 민주화 운동 / 세월호 사건 / 상품백화점 붕괴) |

This project [Condolence] is for the sake of the endless victims of Korean history; wars, struggles, and incidents. I tried to design a matchbox package in order to remind people of the 'scent' of the rite wishing people to remember, mourn, and condole history for a while in their daily life. There are 5 series of matchbox: Independence Day / Korean War / Gwangju Democratization Movement / Collapse of the Sampoong Department Store / Incident of Sewol ferry sinking. You can find informations about the incident inclusing the number of casualties on the right side of the matchbox. |
