화투란 본래 외래에서 유입된 놀이지만 어느덧 중요한 명절에 흔히 즐기는 우리나라의 대표 놀이거리 중 하나이다. 시대의 흐름이 변해도 화투 고유의 그래픽은 변하지 않았기에 이 시대에 맞는 모던 화투를 제작해보고 싶었다. 모던한 느낌의 그래픽으로 젊은 세대뿐만 아니라 전 세계 사람들에게도 현대의 세련된 그래픽과 동양의 신선함이 더해진 화투를 소개하는 목적으로 디자인을 제작하였다. 기존 강렬한 색감과 틀안에 갇혀 보이는 화투에서 벗어나 한국 전통 오방색에서 차용한 색감과 황금비례의 도형적 요소를 사용한 그래픽에 중점을 두어 미니멀한 느낌과 현대식 느낌으로 재해석하여 표현하였다. |

Although the game Hwatoo originally originated from foreign countries, it is one of the most popular game in Korea. Even with the changing trend of this time, the original graphics did not change. So, We wanted to make modern hwatoo for present. The design was designed not only for younger generations but also for the world to introduce them to the modern and sophisticated graphics and the freshness of the East. The traditional strong colors and cards, which seem to be trapped in the frame, were replaced by a modern expression based on the graphic using the shape elements of the traditional five- Korean colors and accurately golden ratio. |
