[리게더 한글]은 1950년 6월 25일에 일어난 한국 전쟁으로 인해 헤어진 이산가족의 슬픔을 달래고 남한과 북한의 언어적·문화적 통일(재융합)을 희망하는 프로젝트 입니다. 활기차고 열린 한글 타이포 디자인을 통해 남한과 북한의 대화의 기회를 열고 서로에 대한 이해를 돕고자 하였습니다. 한글 자음과 모음 타이포는 한국의 전통 문화인 조각보를 컨셉으로, 조각보를 통해 흩어진 천 조각들이 모여 아름다움을 이루듯 남한과 북한에 각각 흩어진 이산가족들이 함께 모여 더 큰 아름다움을 만들었으면 하는 마음이 담겨있습니다. 보다 더 많은 남한과 북한의 소통을 위해 그 외 잡지, 우표, 번역 앱 등 또한 디자인 해보았습니다. |

| DESCRIPTION | |||
| ‘Regather Hangul’ is a work that discusses the plight of families that have been separated between North and South Korea, unable to communicate with one another. After the Korean War divided the peninsula in 1950, separated families have been unable to contact one another. This project is a campaign that aims to address their sorrow by allowing for communication between the separated families with open and vibrant visual language. I designed Hangul typography based on Jogakbo which is Korean traditional patchwork with meaning of getting together is more beautiful. Also, I designed magazine, stamps, translation app and so on for this project. | |||
